A Brief Overview PMC is home to Kentucky’s only Level II Trauma Center, the nation’s largest autism center offering ABA therapy, and Eastern Kentucky’s only Level II Advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Pikeville Medical Center has over 3,100 employees, 600 licensed medical providers and operates 11 Centers of Excellence. PMC nurses deliver compassionate, culturally effective care. PMC nurses coordinate all facets of patient care, collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals, and can progress to managing the most complex cases in their area of expertise.
