OHLALA is a French artisan bakery and café inspired by the French Riviera and rooted in traditional baking. We’re looking for an experienced Bread Baker to join our team and help produce exceptional bread for our café and wholesale partners.
You’ll work alongside our Head Baker, managing daily bread production from mixing and fermentation through shaping, proofing, and baking.
Responsibilities
Prepare doughs according to established recipes and production schedules.
Monitor fermentation, dough temperature, and proofing.
Shape and bake breads with consistent texture, flavor, and appearance.
Coordinate production with the bakery team to meet service and wholesale needs.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety standards.
Manage ingredients carefully and minimize waste.
Qualifications
Previous professional bread baking experience.
Knowledge of fermentation, shaping techniques, and oven operation.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
